The MUT system forms a “composite” image for each coronal slice by fusing the following MUT component images (modes):

Refractivity Images   (from relative pulse time-of flight data)

Frequency-dependent Mulit-Band Attenuation Images (from relative pulse waveform magnitude data)

Frequency-dependent Multi-Band Dispersion Images  (from relative pulse waveform phase-velocity data)

Frequency bands of interest: 1-5 MHz
